I love working with young people of any age .Children that are disabled are what I have worked with since 2004
I have worked in a school a childrens home and in there own home
I am 61 years old but young at heart .I have 3 children all boys .My middle son had meningitis ar 14months but although he survived he was left profoundly deaf.He had a cochlear implant when he was 6 .He was one of the first children to have this done at Addenbrookes
I lived in Hertfordshire all my life but relocated to Norfolk last July .
I have now realised that I am not ready to retire and would now would like to offer my skills to Norfolk.
I have taught life skills and made it fun so that its a pleasure rather than a chore bit like Mary Poppins
Which was my nick name at my last job not that I can do Magic

I can do basic sign language .willing to take young people to activities and willing to get involved in life skills
I have NVQ3 In Health and Social care ( children and Young People )
In have certificates in Moving and Handling .First Aid .Food Hygene They are now out of date but I am willing to go on refresher courses if required
