Hiya :)
My name’s Rebecca, but I prefer Becky. I have worked professionally within the childcare industry for 3 years, and unprofessionally I have worked with children that my parents would child-mind in my teenage years. I absolutely adore working with children of all ages, and I am always finding new ways of play to enhance their developmental milestones. Child care is such a beautiful, and rewarding job, and I take pride in my passion for it.
I currently hold no qualifications in childcare, however, I am DBS checked, I have an up to date first aid certificate, and I’ve been trained on the following: health and safety, food hygiene, safe guarding, infection prevention control, disability and awareness, as well as FGM awareness.
Whilst in the nursery setting, I have had experience with multiple SEND children who all have additional needs, as well as hard of hearing/sight children. This has helped shape me with what I can do to enable the child to develop and achieve what I know that they can in the future!

Explanation:
I currently get a little below the wage i’ve chosen whilst working in a nursery setting, however, since the child(ren) will have my undivided attention for how long i’ll be there and i’m able to engage them in new and different activities one-to-one, i think this is a reasonable price :)
