Karen, childcare in Southend-on-sea SS1

Dear Family,

My name is Karen, I’m 28years old originally from Ireland but recently relocated to Southend on Sea from the Netherlands where I lived for 5 years.

I have over 10 years experience working with children and childcare is a great passion of mine.

I am a full time physiotherapist in Southend Hospital (my hours are Monday to Friday 8.30-4.30). I am interested in helping you out whenever needed apart from my working hours. I am available on short notice as I am new to the area and don’t have any ties. I can also work nights - Friday and Saturdays if necessary.

I have experience with children from Newborns to 16years. I have been a nanny twice in Italy and an aupair 5 times - Italy, Belgium, Malta and twice in the Netherlands. I have worked in a crèche with children from 6months to 3 years and with children through sport from 5-15years. Furthermore, I have worked in summer camps with children with disabilities in Belarus and most recently worked as a physiotherapist assistant in Great Ormond Street hospital for sick children. I was treating children from the ages of 3 years to 16years.

I am an honest, caring and trustworthy person with a lot of energy and a great love of working with children. I love watching and assisting in the growth and development of a child. My main goal in life is to be a specialist paediatric physiotherapist so I can combine my passion for childcare with my love of the medical profession.

I am CPR/resus trained and I am DBS checked. Additionally, I do not smoke and rarely drink.
