My name is Sue. I am a fit, young-at-heart 56 and a retired teacher, who has just finished helping my family by child-minding my own grandson during his early years.
I have over 30 years' experience as a secondary school teacher teaching mainstream French, as well as substantial experience in my later career as a special-educational-needs teacher, providing for children with autism, behavioural difficulties and learning disabilities.
I am now looking for part-time, flexible hours to help other families with their baby-sitting, child-care and/or home-tutoring needs. I adore working with younger and older children alike and have raised my own, two daughters as well as playing a large part in caring for my grandson over the last, few years while his parents were at work.
I am flexible in my approach, easy-to-get on with and am a fun, friendly character that children can easily relate to.
