My name is Annie :)
I started working as a trainee nursery practitioner in 2011 and during my employment I completed my NVQ level 2 and 3 qualifications making me a qualified nursery practitioner, from here I then went on to become a room leader of the baby room which I thoroughly enjoyed. It was not long after that the oppputunity to cover my deputy manager on maternity leave occurred. I was offered this position and took with great enthusiasm during this time I believe I learnt a lot about the office and business side of the job which I enjoyed very much however was very happy to be back with the children when the years maternity cover was over. I continued as 3rd in charge but was able to keep a more hands on role with the children which was my main reason for become a nursery practitioner. I am an enthusiastic, bubbly, kind hearted and caring person. I believe I have bought an awful lot to my job role, I am always providing the children and the team I work alongside with new ideas to give the children fun and exciting experiences to help them learn through play. I enjoy a lot of sensory and creative activities which I believe helps the children to explore and experiment learning new things every day. I have a very strong understanding of the early years outcomes (EYFS). Out of work I also have 2 young nieces aged 3 years and 6 years who I spend an awful lot of time with and love very much! I believe I am ready for a change, and would like the chance to look after children in a different environment being able to do activities outside of the house as well as in. I am also looking forward to taking on some household chores as I enjoy keeping busy! I hope I am the right candidate for you and look forward to hearing back.
