Hannah, childcare in York

My Name is Hannah Hope.
I am origionally from Buckinghamshire but I am currently studying Psychology in Education at the university of York. I believe I am patient and good at taking on new challenges. I think I am good at getting on with children, being sensitive to their needs and resolving problems that may occur.
I have previous babysitting experience with different age groups. These include: A Boy aged 12 and a family of two girls age 11 and 13.

I have completed my Bronze Duke of Edinburgh award, part of this included assisting at a local Beaver Scout Unit for two terms.

Volunteering at Butlers Court Primary school in the reception class allowed me to understand how children learn and the importance of play in learning.

I have also Volunteered at Alfristion, a secondary school for pupils with special needs, for 5 months and All Saints Secondary school in York in the special educational needs department allowed me to understand how to communicate and understand people who have specialist educational needs.

Studying Psychology in Education has also helped me to understand different stragies that help children learn.
