Jessica, childcare - NE1 Newcastle upon tyne

I am a hardworking, self motivated individual and I pride myself in my exceptional social skills. I most enjoy work that is diverse and I work well under pressure. I am comfortable both working independently and within a team where I can put my natural leadership abilities to good use. I have a passion for the educational and personal development of children, especially those of primary age with which I have extensive experience. I am eager to gain new skills in order to develop my strengths as an employee. As of September 2013, I am reading Communications and Public Relations at Northumbria University and living in Newcastle (term-time address TBC). I hope to go on to a PGCE course and become a full time Governess or Primary Teacher.
I have experience with working with children in both relaxed and formal settings and have worked as a face painter on a voluntary basis for a school and friends parties. I also have a up to date CRB (now know as DBS) form, completed in the UK. I have performance experience, having studied performing arts throughout High School and for an additional year at college. This included dance, singing and acting.
