Hi My name is Annie I am 24. I am looking to look after children in their family homes and picking children up from school. I have studied Health and Social Care at college for four years. I have an SVQ 2 in Health and social care. I have also just finished a child care training course for looking after mainstream children and children with additional. while doing this course I done training and received a certificate in First aid, Moving and assisting, Steps to inclusion, Child protection, Risk assessment, and Living equality. I chose to do this course as I love looking after children, It just melts my heart when you help them to achieve something big or small, and just to see any child smile. I also want to help children in any way I can, in their develop. In the best ways possible. I have helped looked after Children with severe disability's while studying my SVQ. I have also Volunteered at Crosshouse hospital in the children's ward, I would play games with the children, an helped out the oral health woman. While doing all this, I have played a lot of different games with children, like football not that I am any good, board games: hungry hippos, snakes and ladders, arts and crafts: painting on paper or rocks we have found, collecting items such as leaves and putting them in paint do transfer to paper and lost more. I would like to thank you for reading, and I hope to hear from you.
Partial / after-school care | $6.10 per hour |
Home nanny | $7.50 per hour |
I am not to fussy about wages as long as it is not minimum wage. as it is a lot of work looking after kids, and I think its only fair to have a livable wage, when working hard to look after someones kids. As it is not easy to maintain a house and work with a very low wage. But I would always be willing to negotiate with parents. Thank you.
