Emily, foreign au pair in Edinburgh

Hello, my name is Emily and I'm from Ontario, Canada. I am coming to the UK and would like to find work in childcare in hopes of gaining experience for my future career as an alternative education teacher. I am willing to care for children of any age and have extensive experience with every age. The last family I cared for had two boys aged 5 and 7.
I have worked as a babysitter for over 10 years but have dedicated the last 5 years to gaining experience in different areas of childcare. I am currently employed and have worked the past 3 summers as the head of the arts and crafts program at Camp White Pine in Ontario, Canada. There I provide leadership, education and care for children aged 7-16. I am also a counselor for their juniors years program that provides education, entertainment and care to children aged 0-10.
Over the past 3 years when I was not at camp I have worked simultaneously at a day-care/play center while provide in-home care for the two boys I mentioned earlier. My duties with that family included cooking, cleaning, tutoring, entertainment, bath and bed time.
Additionally I am working toward an undergraduate degree in eduction and a diploma in early childhood eduction. My studies have provided me with the technical and academic basis for childcare while my extensive experience have provided me with concrete experiential learning.
