Danielle, is looking for a child-carer in Edinburgh EH11 for the 26 August 2019

I am in Edinburgh and am currently searching for a nanny to care for 4 year old son and could hopefully start in the next 2-3 weeks

I have unfortunately been diagnosed with Breast Cancer and have no family nearby to help. My son was due to start a private nursery attached to one of the independent schools later this month, but as I will be undergoing chemo until most likely the new year, we would like to pull him from the nursery setting to prevent him from getting ill which could spread to me. He has been in a nursery setting since 7 months old.

At this point, we would be looking for 4 days a week, 8-5, and if possible light housekeeping. From the end of August until most likely Feb-March. I do not have a car and live in a tenement flat which has on street parking. I will know more when I have a treatment plan in place at the beginning of next week.

Ideally wee are looking for someone who is a bit more mature, and can provide him a bit of normalcy during this period of time. Take him out for walks and such, as long as they are not in very public places where he may pick up colds. Ideally, if they have any experience in food allergies that would be beneficial, as my son has several food allergies (egg, dairy, nuts, and coconut.
