We are a busy, happy, easy-going family with two boys; the eldest boy is 3 and a half years’ old and the youngest will be 10 months’ old in October. My partner runs his own business locally and I work from home as a media & marketing consultant. I have been on maternity leave and will be returning to work at the end of October 2017 and will be working from home. We are looking for a live-in or live out nanny/mother's help.

We are very hands-on parents and are also very sociable, and often have a full house at weekends. Our boys are outgoing and boisterous and love spending time outdoors. We enjoy gardening, growing our own vegetables, cooking, taking our horse and cart out and going on long dog walks in the beautiful countryside we live in. We also spend a lot of time at home entertaining family and friends. We allow our boys lots of freedom but we also limit TV/screen time, eat healthily most of the time and are strict about manners.

We live in a five-bedroom house in the countryside with masses of outside space and beautiful views. We have horses, chickens (maybe some pigs soon!) and a very large, but very friendly, lurcher dog. Our house is situated in a rural location so this role will only suit someone who wants to live and work in the countryside. However, we live close to the Cotswold town of Northleach which is 5 minutes' drive (40 minute walk). Cirencester is 15 minutes' drive. Oxford is 40 minutes' drive and London is approximately 2 hours away by car and/or train.

Our boys are outgoing, used to being outside and need a lot of exercise! You must therefore be fit and active and happy to spend time outdoors with them. They also love being read to and our eldest loves drawing, climbing and building things.

Our eldest son, is 3 and a half and he starts prep school in September. He will be at school every weekday from 8.30am to 3.30pm. Our youngest son will be 10 months' old in October and he will be at home during the day and has a nap in the morning and in the afternoon.

My partner and I will take care of the school runs for our eldest son, and I will only work the hours he is at school and only during term time, so I will be around during half terms and holidays and after school.
Starting October 2017, live in or out, permanent/ongoing, 40 hours weekdays only, plus flexibility for additional hours on an ad hoc basis (e.g. earlier starts or later finishes 2-3 times month).

We are really keen to find someone who would like to be fully involved in our family life for at least a year, possibly longer, and who is happy to slot into our daily routine. Your day would start at 7.30am as an extra pair of hands, helping with breakfast time and getting the boys ready for the day. We are looking for someone to work c.37-40 hours per week plus some additional hours when required. Since our eldest son will be at school every weekday from 8.30am to 3.30pm, your main responsibilities during term time would be to look after our youngest son during the hours of 7.30am and 3pm, although during down times (nap times etc), we would ask you to prepare healthy meals for the boys (inc. batch cooking), plus some light housework, and this might include tidying up their playroom and bedrooms, washing and ironing the children’s clothes, taking delivery of the weekly shop). We have a regular cleaner so that type of housework will not be required. Your day would usually end at 3pm when I would go to pick up our eldest from school. While Mum and Dad will generally do the school runs, there may be the odd occasion where we will ask you to do this (2 or 3 times a month). I do not work during school holidays so during these times, I will also be at home with the children all day.

We would like to find a live-in or live-out nanny. If you lived in you would have your own room and would share the family bathroom. There is a very vibrant social life in our area. You would need to do some driving and you could have use of one of our cars if you do not have your own.
