Bernard, is looking for a nanny - GL5 Stroud for the 3 September 2018

This is a lovely job for a Nanny to work for an informal British family who live in a beautiful home near Stroud in Gloucestershire.

The family have four children: three boys aged 10, 9 and 7 years and a baby girl (9 months).

Both parents are working professionals who are based in London Tuesday-Thursday and work from home on a Monday. Fridays are optional.

Your role as Nanny / House Manager will involve supporting the parents on a Monday, looking after the baby during main working hours & ensuring the family and house are set up for the week.

For Tuesday - Thursday you will have sole charge of the family and house although we have the option to continue with our cleaning service if you prefer to not have this scope included in your role.

Your role Tuesday to Thursday will include taking the older children to and from school, looking after the children’s laundry and wardrobe management, making sure that school uniforms and gym kits are available when needed, make supper for the children and look after them after school, including supervising homework. You will also look after the baby three days a week and support the mother with guiding her development and nutrition.

At a top-level you will also oversee buying birthday presents for friends, organising play dates, arranging doctor/dentist/hairdressing appointments as required, and anything else that is needed to make sure the children are looked after.

This role needs someone who has bags of initiative, can organise their own day and work without supervision.

It is essential that you have worked in a similar role as a nanny in a private residence for at least 3 years with suitable references. You will need to speak good English, have a ‘can do’ attitude – and come to work with a happy smiley face.

This is a Monday to Friday role with weekends free. You are welcome to live-in, live-in Monday to Friday or only overnight as required (Tuesday and Wednesday nights).

Accommodation will be provided in a discrete part of the house - you will have your own bedroom, kitchen and bathroom with your own entrance.

You do need to be a confident driver for this role, a 4WD car will be provided.
