My name is Hannah Callan, I am passionate about assisting children in their personal development as well as thoroughly enjoying the privalage of developing a trusting relationship with both children and parents/carers. The type of work i am looking for is mainly nanny or nanny- housekeeping, which I would like to gain experience in and also advance my existing skills as well as learning new ones. I have a B-tec Level 2 in childcare and have 19 months past experience in a nursery setting and regularly look after my niece who is now 18 months old and am a trusted carer through an occasional weekend if needed. I believe my qualities relating to childcare are that I am patient, caring, responsable and am happily willing to go out of my way if it benefits the child/children. An example of this would be planning activities such as baking, arts and crafts or days out to not only make the children's day enjoyable but also increase areas of development depending what certain activity it is.
