Samantha, nanny in Rothwell

I am a friendly bubbly girl who loves children and working with them is my passion.
I have a full uk driving licence and nanny incidence which covers children being in my car.
I am ofsted registered and have had a DBS check
I also have a first aid cirtificate
I am a qualified practitioner with a high DDM final grade of my diploma

I have completed over 800 hours of work experience with children from 4 different placements. as part of my course i have been in a year one environment working with children aged 5-6 then in a baby placement with children under 1, in a nursery with children aged 3-4 and in a reception class with children aged 4-5 year old.
In my baby placement i was lucky enough to go to a home placement with triplets and ever since i have kept in contact with them i have assisted the mother with the day to day tasks such as feeding, dressing, playing and some light housework such as ironing, hanging washing out and cleaning the kitchen. I visited and helped this family for around two years, in my spare time and school holidays etc and its safe to say I have loved it and formed a bond with the children!

My course gave me a lot of hand on experiences, knowledge and understanding in the care, supervision and learning of children and I feel I can now try and provide the best care for your little ones!

Since I have finished my course last July I have had 5 part time babysitting/nanny jobs and I have grown very close with the children and families, however I am now looking for a full time child care job as the ones I have are not offering enough hours to get by. I will be sad to leave them but I am hoping to find a more permanent family that offer work on a full time basis or with more hours that are set days and times.
-I have worked with 5 month old twins
- mothers help with triplets for two years
- school run with a 5 year old boy
- been looking after a little boy for a year, he was 10 months when I first met him
- every Thursday I look after brothers 2 & 5 from 5-8 which includes school runs, meal preparation, entertaining the youngest an doing light houses work.
- I also have just finished a 3 month contract with a family of 4 which was quite challenging as they were all different ages but I feel it has given me lots of experience I can take with me further. The hours were 8-5 so included feeding, dressing, school runs, going to play groups & parks etc.

Through all of my experience and learning I hope to provide your children with the best possible care.
