Additional help with our autistic 6 year old daughter around dinner and bedtime

April is a bright, funny, sweet girl and very affectionate with those she knows. She is also autistic and has associated difficulties with social situations and sleeping. April also has delayed gross and fine motor skills. She can walk independently but needs assistance climbing stairs and in the playground. She is also only partially potty trained, which we continue to work on. April is currently very dependent on her parents for fairly constant attention. April also takes a very long time to go to sleep and will only do so with one of her parents. We are looking for someone with experience or deep understanding of autistic children to commit to work with us to gradually help April to become more comfortable with someone other than her parents around bedtime. We see this starting as just someone being around for a few hours late afternoon / early evening, two or three times a week, getting to know April, and leading, eventually, hopefully, to that person being able to put April to bed, and babysitting occasionally to allow Helli and Pete to have the occasional evening out together. Ideally, we'd also like that person to take some pressure off Helli by playing with April while we make dinner and maybe helping to tidy up April's toys or similar assistance. It's possible that in the future we may also want further support at other times to allow Helli to go back to work part time or go to evening events. We are flexible about which two or three weekday early evenings to get support on.
