My name is Dominique and In my spare time I enjoy going to a Zumba class, going for walks and I love doing anything creative.
I consider myself to be reliable, punctual and a friendly individual.
Why do I work with children? I love making a difference to a child by influencing their learning and development emotionally, physically and intellectually.
I am a huge fan of learning through play and believe that the TV has an off button!!
I like to think of my approach as being firm, fair and fun!
After all, the best memories are made when it's fun!

I currently work in a Reception class at a local primary school as a learning support assistant. As a part of this role I have worked alongside a range of children, including those with special needs.

I am going into my fourth year of working with children, my daily roles and responsibilities are to support children in group work, lead activities and ensure children are well looked after and enjoying their time at school!

I have experience in speech and language therapy, and have worked alongside a therapist to support individual children who have difficulty.

For the past year I have been looking after two children after school so I am used to working in a professional environment and a home environment.
