I am a 42 year old responsible, flexible, hardworking, reliable and cheerful person with excellent childcare experience of over 20 years as both a live-in and live-out nanny caring for children from newborn to teenagers. I love working with children, caring for them and watching them grow and develop whilst supporting them in their day to day lives and learning.

I have over 20 years childcare experience. I worked as a Nursery Nurse for 3 years before moving into nannying which I have been doing for the last 20 years. I have been with 2 of my employemnets for 10 years each whilst more recently doing a nanny share when the children reached school age. I have had sole charge of all the children in my care, including doing overnights and extended periods whilst parents have been away or out of the country.

I love getting out and about in the local area and have buit up a great knowledge of things to do, places to go, groups and classes that are on offer for children of a variety of ages. Similarly time spent at home can involve painting, making cards, baking, putting on shows, playdates, board games etc.

I am happy to carry out nursery duties such as children's washing and ironing as well as cooking a range of healthy and tasty food, involving the children where appropriate or filling the freezer with home cooked meals.

I have experience of weaning, potty training, introducing and/or following routines, settling at nursery and school and appreciate the importance of effective, thoughtful communication with parents regarding their children's progress, achievements, general day to day well being and activities we've been enjoying.

I have an up to date DBS and paedeatric first aid qualification and am happy to register with OFSTED if required.
