Katey, childcare provider in Swindon

Hello, my name is Katey and i'm 21 years old, seeking nanny jobs in the swindon area. I have recently graduated from the University of Birmingham, and whilst studying have been nanny for several families, both within Birmingham and Swindon. In my role as Nanny, I was responsible for children ranging from the ages of New born to thirteen years. My role was primarily to create a warm, friendly environment in which these children were able to learn and play, preparing balanced, healthy meals, and organising outings, craft activities and age appropriate timetables to suit the individual needs of each child. This was facilitated through my ability to gain respect and trust from the children – being authoritative when needed, but fun and friendly too as well as sensitive to the developmental needs and requirements of each child in my care. My role sometimes included tuition and help with any outstanding homework and music practise, I have a passion for music and play in Jazz bands, as well as teaching Karate and self defence to children. I'm a non smoker, love pets - we have many, ranging from dogs to bearded dragons! So walking dogs/ pet care is always welcome too.
