Marie, occasional childcare - BN2 Brighton

Hi I'm Marie,

I'm 19 years old and currently finishing a year at university.

I am looking for a babysitting position as I love working with children, I think it is so rewarding!

I have 8 siblings, 4 of which I babysit on a regular basis. I would pick up my siblings from school, help with their homework, plan activities and games and put to bed etc.

I also have experience working in a primary school setting as I carried out a short placement in a primary school, working as a classroom assistant/ role model for a class of Primary 3 children. I would help to supervise the children at lunch/break, help the teacher to mark books and homework, and help children with learning difficulties to better understand their work.

I have also volunteered in a summer scheme for children from underprivileged areas of the city. We would play games, sing, dance, plan activities and day trips, to let the children experience things they wouldn't usually. I was one of four leaders in charge of a group of 4-5 year olds.

I am moving to Paris to work as an au pair in August/September however I am available to work at any time, any day of the week.
