Heather, occasional childcare in Stirling FK8

I am 21 and in my final year at the Stirling University studying Social work. I love interacting and supporting children in their social, physical and health development. Whilst I am at University would like to add extra quality experience to my portfolio. I have been said to have a positive bubbly and creative attitude which I always try and maintain. I have SSSC & PVG certificates, which are regularly updated.

In my previous experience I have cared for children aged 1 - 16 years.
My most relevant and recent role was a support worker at a Primary School out of school club. My role was to plan activities with the children, provide play areas, materials and equipment, encourage fair and caring behavior among the children and encourage independence and self-esteem. I dealt with minor accidents and participated in risk assessing making sure that play is safe, balancing risks such as falling with their need to climb and explore.
