Alice, occasional childcare in Newcastle upon tyne

Hi, my name is Alice and I'm a student here in Newcastle studying for a degree in Biology and Psychology. In my free time I like to go running, walking, socialising and shopping, I like to keep myself busy. For two years I looked after a baby girl called Evie for 3-4 nights a week as her parents owned a restaurant- she was just two months old when I started so I have a lot of experience with changing nappies, sick, teething and tantrums etc., I'm completely comfortable dealing with that. As well, a few years ago I completed a work placement in a primary school where I got experience working with children aged 6-11 years, doing activities with them and helping out in the classroom. I also have a younger brother back home who is now fourteen and I looked after him quite a lot when I was younger. I'm really looking for babysitting work in the evenings, however I could possibly do after school child care on certain days depending on my timetable (please ask) and I'm always free at weekends. Basically, not to sound too sure of myself, but kids seem to love me- I'm always the one who gets abducted by all the little kids at family parties, but its fine I do love spending time with them! I'll play games, help with homework, read or cook- anything really.
