Hello, welcome to DiddyDucklings Childcare. I am Ellie and I live at home with my partner in surrey.

I have 14 GCSES which range from 2 A* in Drama to 4 A* in Health and Social Care.
I have a NVQ Level 2 in Children’s and Young People Workforce which I received in 2016. I worked in a nursery setting whilst doing my qualification for children aged 2-5 following the EYFS framework and development matters. I also did my first aid qualification as well as a Safeguarding course.
After I finished my qualification I decided to move to a day nursery where I could get more experience with younger children, I looked after children from aged 3months-15 months encouraging younger children to develop in areas which involved sensory play, messy play and imitation play.
I have recently completed my Childminding Introduction Programme which is known as CHIP course. Ive decided to to go into childminding with another childminder Natasha from her home in Surrey. We have decided to go into childminding because we love to work with children but would like to introduce a home feel to children to develop their learning.
We want to provide affordable childcare to families in the area.

I am Natasha and I live at home with my partner Stephen and my daughters. Sophie was born in 2012 and Lilly was born in 2015. We also have a dog called Chase, a cross breed who has been brought up with my daughters since he was 8 weeks old.

I have a diploma in childcare which I received in 2007. Since then I have done a lot of baby sitting for family and friends and have worked in a nursery for 2-5 year olds following the EYFS framework. I have completed a paediatric first aid course and most recently the Chip course.

I have decided to go into childminding with another childminder called Ellie, as we love working with children and want to provide a affordable childcare with a home feel.
I will be offering drop off and pick ups from local school.
