Linsay, occasional childcare in Bristol

My name is Linsay and I am 20 years old. I studied Childrens Care, Learning and Development (BTec Level 3) for 2 years at college. As part of my course, I worked 2 days a week in a variety of Childcare settings: Nursery, Pre-School and Primary Schools. For 2 years after, I worked in a Primary School. For the first year I worked as a general TA in a Year 3/4 classroom (mornings) and a Year R class in the afterrnoons. In my second year, I worked as a learning support assistant (LSA) for 3 children. Mornings, a child with Global learning delay. Lunchtime, a child with Down Syndrome and in the afternoons, a child with severe Autism. I am now a university student taking Childhood Studies. Alongside all professional experience, there are many children in the family! I have a 5 year old sister, 3 year old brother, 3 year old niece and a 4, 2 and 0 year old nephews. Clearly, my passion lies with children and I'll be keen to get to know your children, focusing on their best interests. I'll also be willing to do a variation of tasks with your children, whether it be homework, feeding, education or fun activities!
