Hi, I'm a 16 year old looking for a job. I'm currently doing my GCSEs but also feel bad as everyone around me has a job and i I. I really enjoy helping to look after kids, I've babysat my own siblings and family before. I'm willing to learn and try new things! I love helping with homework (especially for younger kids because i understand it), and i believe it does help that my younger sister is in primary school so I'm up to date with how they do things.
Of course you may think a GCSE student is too young, or may not have enough time, when infact I have more than enough time. I often find myself bored and then feel like I'm wasting my time. For sixth form I'm going into child care as well, so this would be an amaizng experience to have in advance for my future classes as well.
I am able to clean, do the kitchen, help with homework, put the kids to bed. I can cook basic meals for dinner but I'm not a gourmet chef in the slightest so that may be a no. I can do washes, I can help out as much as you need.
I have a lot of activities to help with kids as well, instead of being on devices we'd do puzzles, riddles. Depending on the weather we'd go park or for a big walk and look at nature, try teach them enjoyable things about nature that doesn't feel forced or bore them. Of course if they'd rather watch YouTube and that's okay with you then I'm not one to try and change their regular schedule. I believe I handle arguments and fights rather well, as I'm usually able to calm the situation pretty quickly. I don't lose my temper at all either, from years of practise with my siblings.
