I am a friendly and supportive person and am happy to help with chores around the house. I am a good planner and prefer to have an organized schedule, but I am happy to take on additional hours in last minute or emergency situations.

I have been volunteering and helping students with their education for 3 years now, volunteering in both museums, primary and secondary schools, which have allowed my communication skills with children to grow extensively.

Babysitting for my older sister has been a prominent part of my life for over 7 years, as she is a single parent and needed support with her two children. Crafts, cooking and games are all tasks I am happy to complete with children, as I am a well-equipped cook, have run many craft stalls and fairs within primary schools, and also skills I have picked up from babysitting.

One of my volunteer experiences was in the Garstang Museum, where I taught young students about a variety of historical subjects, which fostered my love for the past and longed me to teach. I hope to be well qualified to pursue a career in teaching in the future. I believe teachers are key to reaching pupils and my ambition is to help advance the knowledge of future generations, and am thus happy to help with homework (both primary and secondary) to the best of my ability.

I am currently studying History and Philosophy at Lancaster University, and so am looking for work in the area. I have a full driving licence and have received a DBS check, both from MyTutor (a website that allows self-employed tutors to find work) and Lancashire County Council (as I am employed in one of their museums for seasonal work).
