Hi my name is Fiona and I am 32 years old. I enjoy working with children and it is a role I am passionate about. I pride myself in having a high standard of care and find it easy to build good rapport with people of all age groups.
Since having my baby a year ago, it has made me even more determined to find a job where I’m working with children. I have looked in to child orientated courses; however these are quite costly at the moment.
I have been working with children for over 5 years as a Volunteer Assistant Cub Scout Leader but would like to gain paid experienced work on a part-time basis or as and when.
From time to time I also look after my Niece who is 4 and my nephew who is 7.
I also have 6 years experience working in respite settings, residential homes and supported living environments, with children, adults and the elderly, with a variety of specialist needs such as learning disabilities, complex behaviors, autism spectrum disorders and physical disabilities.
I am also happy to cook, clean, tidy, iron etc, anything I can do, to help make your day go that little bit easier, as I know how busy life can be trying to fit in and juggle a family, a job, a house, etc and I can cater well for people with either allergies or certain food intolerance's.

I’m very creative and I am happy to do crafts with the children, read books, help with homework or play games etc.

As an individual I am very patient, approachable, polite, energetic, professional, honest, enthusiastic and reliable. I am able to adapt well to changes, use my own initiative, remain calm under pressure and react positively to challenges.

I have a full clean UK driving license, with access to a vehicle and a recent, clean DBS check.
