Laura, after-school childcare in Dundee DD1

My name is Laura and I am a student at the University of Dundee.
I am 19 years old and I come from Italy.
As a student, I would prefer to work in the evening/night, and during weekends.
I have had previous experience working in a gym with children aged 3 to 11 years. Here I was assistant Coach in an artistic gymnastic program.
From this experience, I have learnt that the two most important aspects of a healthy relationship between child and care are reciprocal respect and fun.
The learning process is constant in a developing child and the best way to make it happen is discovering the world with a smile on your face while having fun. I believe it also fundamental, to transmit discipline so that the child can understand your role and respect you, but not fear you.
I would describe myself as polite and well-educated. I always try to look on the bright side of things and to be positive, but always keeping my feet on the ground, I have been told that I am extremely responsible and trustworthy and caring.
These are the values I believe in and this is what I am trying to pass on to the children I work with.
