Lyndsey, baby sitting - DD1 Dundee

My name is Lyndsey, and I'm a first year English student. I'm 19 years old, however I've had lots of experience working with children. I'm also a fluent Gaelic speaker.

For two years, I worked as a play worker in Glasgow; looking after children over the age of 3. During my time working there, I was responsible for ensuring the children were playing in a safe environment and I dealt with any worries or concerns that they might have had. I also know lots of fun games and activities to do. I'm also PVG certified.

I've also had experience baby-sitting my little cousins, B6 and G10, who both had fun teaching me how to make bracelets out of loom bands, and watching movies.

I have lots of experience working with children with Downs Syndrome. My older brother has Downs, and growing up we were part of a theater group, called Ups and Downs, that was created to let young people like my brother do what they love; sing, dance and act. When I was 14, I made the jump from simply being a cast member to a helper, helping the junior cast members to learning their words and dances.

I'm kind, caring and responsible person, who is also very patient and trustworthy. I'll happily help with homework if needed, despite being an English student, I'm also good with Maths.
