Kayt, is looking for a part time nanny in London WC2R for the 21 September 2015

We are a South African / English family looking for a fun, warm, creative and energetic Nanny for our two children a girl aged 6 (in August) and a boy aged 4 at our home in Kensal Green for an Sept / Oct 2015 start (exact dates tbc). I know this is early to be advertising but we decided to start seeing what our options were.

We are an easy going family, who laugh alot, enjoy silly times while providing our children with good boundaries and a nurturing environment where they can learn. Most of all we like having lots of fun and amazing life experiences (no matter how big or small). We love nothing more than letting our Minis be their individual selves and embracing who they are.

Both our children will be at school by September so we are looking for someone to do after school pick ups and to be full-time during school holidays. We are open to finding a workable solution with the right person if the exact times and days don't work

You will need you to maintain a warm and happy home environment for the children. Day to day you will need to manage homework, take them to their activities, arrange and host play dates, prepare nutritious and varied meals and keeping them entertained while learning and having loads of fun.

Nanny responsibilities extend to light housekeeping where necessary (i.e. in places the children have been and related to children) including laundry tidying-up after meals and playtimes as well as occasional shopping for the family.

We are working parents, so we are looking for a nanny who is experienced with sole charge positions but is also comfortable having parents around (we sometimes work from home).

Our nanny needs to be a self-starter and able to plan the week, be creative with stimulating activities for the chlidren and generally be very organised. Trustworthy, punctual and above all positive and happy are key traits for this role. You will need to have a "firm but fun" approach to discipline.

The position will require a Nanny that has:-

- English (fluent). You must be able to speak English fluently.
- minimum of 2 years sole-charge experience with young children
- good cooking skills and able to provide varied and nutritious meals with ease
- up to date CRB check
- current first aid certificate
- non-smoker
- minimum of 2 excellent references
- drivers licence

HOURS:
Mon - Fri 3pm - 7pm during term time with some flexibility (although we do try very hard to not need overtime) and ad hoc babysitting.
Mon - Fri 8.30am - 7pm during school holidays.

We will pay competitive salary tailored to the nanny's experience and qualifications.

Because we consider our nanny to be part of our family, and a huge part of our chlidrens lives, we are looking for someone who is looking to make a long term commitment in the role.
