Nicole, occasional childcare in Dundee DD1

Hello, my name is Nicole and I am a social work student. I am a creative and outgoing individual. I love working with children and enjoy a challenge. My interests include arts and crafts, cooking, baking and reading. I am looking to do part time nanny work and/or babysitting for children of any age in Dundee. I am also open to working with children with special needs.

My Experience:

I volunteered with my local rainbows group for three years. Through this I gained experience with children aged 4-7. I regularly ran craft sessions with the children and read books with them. I learnt how to incorporate learning experiences with fun activities.

For two years I worked in an arts and crafts company with children. My regular activities involved organising and running children's (of all ages) birthday parties, helping children with painting and general cooking and cleaning tasks.

Currently, I am a support worker for Scottish Autism. This job has enabled me to have an extensive knowledge of autism and how to deal with challenging behaviour.

In addition, I have previous babysitting experience for babies and children of family and friends.

My Qualifications:

I am currently undertaking a BA (Hons) Degree in Social Work - I qualify in 2017.

My Availability:

My availability is flexible dependent on your needs. I am willing to work two - three evenings per week as well as weekends. I also have a fairly light University timetable at certain points in the year so I can be available during the day.
