Jamila, offering childcare - CO1 Colchester for the 19 January 2015

Hi I'm Jamila, mum to three children - two boy's and a girl. We live just outside of Colchester town centre . Tristan is 6 and at school full time. David and Leilani are 4 & 2 and currently attend preschool two afternoons a week.

I am currently seeking a full time, live out nanny to start with us from 19th January. The hours until June will be Mon- Fri 7am to 5pm, after which time shift work will be involved including nights with times confirmed 1 month in advance. Ideally you will be in a position to do both the day hours now and continue on with us after the 6 month period with shift work.

The eldest attends a local primary school 8.40am – 3.15pm. The younger children attend a local nursery 1-4pm two days per week and so the nanny would need to be a driver with own car. Outside of this the nanny would need to arrange playgroups and age appropriate activities for the toddlers.

You will be responsible for preparing children’s meals, ensuring their areas are kept tidy, the children’s laundry etc. is cleaned by utilising the times they are away.

The nanny will need to be based locally and probably without dependants of her own as the shift work after June will include nights. As stated, ideally a live out nanny would be preferred with facilities to sleep during night shifts but for the right candidate a live in position may be considered.

Experience is valued more than qualifications, although still necessary!

- Current DBS check (formerly CRB)
- Paediatric First Aid
- Ofsted registered
- Full driving licence & own car
- Childcare qualification ( NVQ , Diploma etc...)
- Checkable references
