Onira, sitter in Colchester CO1

Hi,

I am a postgraduate student at the University of essex in need of a flexible Job. baby sitting would be great!!

My experience with children mainly comes from my family... I have about 14 nieces and nephews, and was always required to help care for them since birth.

I do all, from changing diapers to cooking/ baking, outdoors play and indoors entertainment, I love to sing children's songs both in English and Portuguese. I worked as care clown intern in Steve Biko hospital back in South Africa, it was part of my Psychology curriculum. Therefore, I know a couple of tricks to put a smile on a child's face even in their worse days!!

I am also very nurturing, friendly and patient. I love to tell stories to children and have them participate. Outdoor games and soccer are my favourite!
I have also interned at a primary school, would love to help with homework, or any sensitive issue the child might have.

I have no certificate in First aid or CPR, but I have cared for sick children and I am aware of what I should or not do, and of the responsibilities that come with child caring.

By the way, I am currently studying cognitive development of children. I would have a blast participating in your child's life and watching them develop cognitive skills fundamental for adult life.

PS: I prefer to work with 1- 6 year old children.
