Madalina, baby sitter - LE11 Loughborough

I am a Romanian student in History and International Relations at Loughborough University. My understanding and oratory skills in English are equatable to that of a native, having lived in this country before my studies. From having taken care of cousins and the children of family friends, to having tutored in my fields of study whilst still at university, I wish to be able to bring smiles on many more young faces. My experience and voluntary in tutoring A level, secondary school level and even university level students has allowed me to learn how to develop new teaching methods to make learning something to look forward to. Having grown in a family with a passion for healthy and delicious food, in which my father is a chef and my mother is a pastry chef, I have learnt from them how to prepare several recipes: from starters, mains, deserts, to even making homemade bread, pizza and ice-cream. I don't just love sharing my food, but also how to prepare it, and I have some recipes that can even be learnt by little chefs. Additionally, my mother has made sure to raise me with traditional housekeeping rules, so I also learnt to be clean and keep things tidy all around. In one instance I have encouraged an initially messy cousin to be excited of folding shirts and placing them in his wardrobe "in order to build a fort to protect his soldiers from falling over".

I'm not aiming to be a standard childcarer. I like understanding every parent and child individually, and that applies even to siblings. I am a very good listener, with an accommodating personality and my interest in working as a childcarer does not come from the desire to simply get a role, but also to build strong and precious relationships with families (children and parents alike) with whom I would collaborate.
