My name is Jean, I have raised my own 3 children, all grown up and hard working adults now and independent, a credit to me & my ex-husband friends often comment. I am nearly 60 years old but as yet not a grandmother so would really enjoy sharing quality time caring for other children. I have in the past worked in an EBD school which involved working with Autistic, ADHD, & Aspergers children of a primary age, I thoroughly enjoyed my position and only left due to my re-location here in Wales. I have a great understanding of children's development and achieved my NVQ Level 3 in childcare. It is of great importance to develop a child's mind so if I was chosen I would discuss games & activities with parents and children to enhance knowledge & enjoyment. At present I work in retail on a 16 hour contract, I have tried many times to go back into education but I do not speak Welsh so I think is a barrier for me, so consequently I took a position in retail.
